Samhain 2008

This year's Samhain will take place in Akademija club in Belgrade, from October 31st until November 2nd. Samhain will start with now already traditional Halloween masquerade, and through out the weekend you will be able to attend, among the other things, live performances of bands May Result, Sacramental Blood, Fancy Frogs, Istok and many others.

Almost all of Insurrection editions are sold out. Only Fancy Frogs - "Son of Earth" (DRR005) and EP Awaiting Fear (DRR008) can be found in stores, other editions will be available for download from our darkstar server in October.

You can except new album from Kanntilen Ante Portas (ex Slovenska nekropola), named "U san se ne snilo", in October. New album from dreDDup, named "El Conquistadors", will be available in January next year.

 New "Frogs" Album in Stores

We present you fifth Insurrection edition - new Fancy Frogs album, called Son of Earth. Seven new songs in deluxe :) package, with plastic overlay booklet, lyrics and illustrations. And of course, as you are already used to, on black audio disk :)

You can buy this album in stores in Belgrade and Pancevo, or to order it over Insurrection site. Concert promotion will be held on March 27th in Livingroom SKC club in Belgrade.

Činjenično stanje, sve više i ubedljivije, ukazuje da je kompilacijsko ostvarenje Forgotten art -gotovo nestvarno umešno osmišljeno- zapravo nezaboravno uzbuđujuće, duboko skrozirajuće i efekno-iskustvo. Iz više uglova posmatrano a kroz prizmu istinske artificijelnosti doslovce svakog od dvanaest zastupljenih sastava, može se (u)tvrditi da je odabir umetnika bio pravi i što je najbitnije-dobitni.  Changes...

Inferno no.2 and Haven no.9, that should take place on February 24th and March 15th, are canceled due to security reasons. Also, due to current situation, Beltaine 2008 will be organized in smaller scale than planned. Concert of Italian group Ataraxia, that should take place as a part of this year's Beltaine festival, is being delayed until December or Beltaine 2009.

 Samhain 2007 Live Report

Proslave Halloweena u zemlji Srbiji uzimaju sve više maha. Tog 31.oktobra, behu koliko znam minimum tri u gradu, a najveća i najstarija u organizaciji Dark Revolutiona, desila se na istom mestu gde je sve to i začeto u legendarnoj "Rupi" (jupa?), da ne kažem Akademiji.

A, Akademija danas, šta znam, kada sam počeo tamo da radim, sada već pre tačno 20 godina,eh, beše to pristojno mesto sa fliperima, bez malog kluba (na mestu pomenutog se nalazio studio "Akademija"), sa mnogo više šarma nego danas. A možda su sve to nostalgična sećanja. Nebitno, vreme je današnje i oko 500 ljudi je došlo da proslavi ovaj pogrešno nazvan veštičji praznik. Read more...
